Large percentage of app installs failing in large enterprise architecture
Please can anyone provide any troubleshooting tips or fixes (if you have fixed a similar issue before) regarding this issue below?
I do not have the full details yet - no architecture specific info / logs etc.
Initial information:
Fifty (50) percent of app installs fail, not of MobileIron itself, but of the enterprise apps they distribute via MobileIron. This is for a large enterprise with normal IT architecture with MobileIron MDM configuration.
Thank you for any help,
Mark Cooper

Enterprise Apps failing
This is a new feature in IOS 8.1.3. Here are the scenarios:
New devices with 8.1.3 - Enterprise apps created before 8.1.3 will not install
Users who upgraded to 8.1.3 - existing apps will work fine, however they cannot install any apps due to the above point
Users who upgraded to 8.1.3 with working apps cannot upgrade to a newer version of any app if those apps were created prior to 8.1.3.
The fix to make apps work in 8.1.3 is to include an entitlement.plist file in the IPA. However, it is almost required that users who upgraded to 8.1.3 remove all their apps and re-install everything after the apps have been fixed.

Thank you for the excellent information!
I have not received any updated information from the client, as large enterprises are always concerned with security risks. I have already sent my client your great fix, and I will reply with the results when a solution is found.
