Deploying an App to a company?

Hi guys,

I've been wondering about this for a long time,

My intentions are to offer an App to a specific company.

That Company is not located in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States as mentioned in http://www.apple.com/business/vpp/.

However, if I'm correct, they do have a D-UD number and are a recognized company and probably do have Apple-IDs.

Since Enterprise Volume Purchase Program is not available to that company simply because its not in those countries mentioned above,

What are my Options?

I want to:
1- Make my app available to that company somehow, either through AppStore or without.
2- At the moment, I hold an Individual's License - ( iOS Developer Program Standard - $99 )
3- I don't mind what the purchase options, either via Apple or without.

Any any help is appreciated.

In House App Distribution

I think your best bet will be to distribute apps via In House Distribution.

If the company exists outside of countries covered by the AppStore / VPP, chances are you will be out of luck when it comes time to download or attempt to redeem codes from within those non-covered countries.

With In House distribution, you post the app on a server of your choosing and users can access that app directly from the server from anywhere in the world.

What you should do is have your customer create an Enterprise iOS Development account, which does require a DUNS number to establish. With that, you will be able to create an In House distribution profile instead of an AppStore profile. The company will then add you as a developer to their enterprise account and you can create apps on their behalf.

We have a free MDM solution that helps with the distribution part, allowing you to push enterprise apps to mobile devices, manage updates, and etc. Of course the devices have to be managed by MDM to do this, but because it is free, it is not a bad option. You can check it out at http://www.simplemdm.com.

There is a lot of information available about In House app distribution from Apple here: http://www.apple.com/business/accelerator/ and http://help.apple.com/iosdeployment-apps/mac/1.1/#app43ad6a6a.

Good luck!
